Reservation FAQs

  • You don't need a reservation; we always reserve at least half of our tables for walk-ins. Our busiest days are Thursday-Saturday. You can see all of our spaces and pricing above.

  • We are happy to start a tab for your group; we can also provide wristbands (free of charge) to your group so you/we can clearly identify who is part of your group. If you'd like to limit how much your group consumes, we can also provide drink tickets your group can use to redeem at the bar. Our average beer prices are $7-$9 per glass and $12 per glass of wine, and usually people consume 1.5 drinks during a visit.

  • All reservation purchases are non-refundable, although if you need to reschedule we are happy to do so free of charge! Just email us at events@barebottle.com rather than cancelling your reservation.

  • There is no food & beverage minimum, just a modest fee to book a space at one of our taprooms. The fee does not count as a credit towards food & beverages.

  • You are welcome to bring decorations, but please no helium-filled balloons, confetti or other messy decorations; bring flowers instead! You may arrive up to 30 minutes early to set up and stay 30 minutes afterwards to clean up. Please make sure that if you use tape you remove those pesky little pieces of tape at the end of the reservation.

  • We take this very seriously because the California Dept. of Alcohol Beverage Control does. Outside alcohol, of any kind, even gifts of bottles of wine, are strictly prohibited. The presence of outside alcohol puts our license at risk and therefore the jobs of the people in our company. We stock non-alcoholic beverages, including non-alcoholic beer, and make it available for purchase.

  • You are welcome to bring in your own food (including cake) at no charge. For outside catering, we just ask that all food arrives pre-made (e.g. no onsite cooking) during your event reservation, you bring all utensils / plates / etc, and you remove all catering items at the end of the event. At our Bernal Heights brewery, we have food trucks every day, and you see the calendar here. At Santa Clara, we have a small food menu here. At Salesforce Park, our menu is here. For outside catering, we just ask that all food arrives pre-made (e.g. no onsite cooking) during your event reservation, you bring all utensils / plates / etc, and you remove all catering items at the end of the event.

  • The standard reservation length is 2 hours. If you'd like more time, during the checkout flow there is a check box in the upper lefthand corner where you can 1-2 hours to your reservation.

  • We allow only 20 minutes for early access on large party reservations. There is no early access for single table reservations.
